Joshua started his interest in finances as a small child and continued his fascination into adulthood getting an official start in the industry in 2014. He explored many areas of the financial world gaining knowledge and experience. In 2018 Joshua started his own business to achieve his goal of helping people reach financial freedom through education and comprehensive planning.
Here at Freedom Financial Insurance we offer various insurance services including Medicare assistance, individual and group health, life and group life, as well as fixed and fixed indexed annuities. These instruments allow us access to multiple investment vehicles to best meet your goals. We do not play favorites with which type of investment is best; we simply look for the best type of investment for your situation. In addition to being open to many investment vehicles, we are independently contracted with many companies to choose the best fit for your needs. We also work with our sister company Freedom Financial Tax to come up with your personal tax strategy while keeping your investments and personal goals in mind.

Carrie Comstock is the Director of Operations at Freedom Financial Insurance, where she has been a key part of the team since 2019. With over 15 years of customer service experience, she brings a sharp mind, a steady hand, and a strong commitment to people and processes. From logistics and leadership to development, growth, and daily problem-solving, Carrie plays a central role in keeping the business running smoothly and efficiently.
Raised on a dirt road in a small rural town, Carrie learned the value of hard work, resilience, and showing up for others. Those same values guide her in her role as a volunteer EMT—a part of her life that holds great significance for her. Whether responding to calls or supporting her community in quiet ways, she sees it as an opportunity to give back and be of service where it’s needed most.
When she’s not at work or on call, Carrie enjoys spending time outdoors. You’ll often find her kayaking, fishing, hiking, riding horses or ATVs, or simply relaxing with her dogs and horse. She also deeply values time spent with her family and friends, believing that strong connections and shared moments are what matter most. Staying connected to nature, loved ones, and her animals helps keep her grounded and recharged.
Abigail graduated with high honors from Rutgers University in 2007 with a Bachelors in Plant Science.
She worked with farmers in New Jersey to implement conservation practices for a few years before moving to the Twin Tiers to marry Joshua.
Abigail has experience with farm animals and selling on Amazon. Her diverse interests and skills brought her to Freedom Financial Insurance as Chief Financial Officer after an 8-year stint as a Stay-at-Home Mom.
She continues to homeschool her two daughters and enjoys many types of fiber arts, especially crochet and weaving.
Brooke is an Executive Assistant at Freedom Financial Insurance, where she takes a focused, dependable approach to supporting both clients and the team. She’s always ready to assist with questions or concerns and helps keep day-to-day operations running efficiently.
Originally from the area, Brooklyne graduated from Northeast Bradford High School and began her career as a job coach—an experience that built her strong problem-solving skills and a steady, supportive approach to working with others. Her background has shaped the practical mindset she brings to her role every day.
Outside of work, Brooklyne enjoys spending time with her family and friends, caring for animals (especially her sheep), gardening, and being outdoors. She also loves going to the beach and traveling whenever the opportunity arises, whether it’s a quick weekend trip or a new place to explore.
